1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BrainBatch ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any future modifications.

2. Description of Service

BrainBatch is a daily trivia quiz application for entertainment and educational purposes.

Features:

• Daily quiz sessions (5 questions per day for free users)
• Progress tracking (streaks, scores, statistics)
• Badge achievements
• Optional rewarded video ads to unlock additional questions (+5 per day)
• Optional authentication (Sign in with Apple/Google)
• Premium subscription for unlimited questions (coming soon)

The App is provided "AS IS" for entertainment purposes only.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Anonymous Usage

• The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to identify users
• No personal information is required to use the free features
• Your progress is saved to your device and our cloud database
• Anonymous data is cleared on app deletion (GDPR compliant)

3.2 Optional Authentication

• Users may optionally sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In
• Authenticated data persists across app reinstalls via iOS Keychain
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

3.3 Account Deletion

• You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete My Account
• Account deletion is immediate and irreversible
• All data will be permanently deleted from our servers

4. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or exploit the App
• Not use automated tools to answer questions or manipulate scores
• Not submit false or abusive information
• Not circumvent daily question limits

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.

5. Intellectual Property

• All questions, graphics, and app content are owned by BrainBatch
• The BrainBatch name and logo are trademarks
• You may not copy, distribute, or modify the App without permission

6. Monetization

6.1 Free Tier

• Free users receive 5 questions per day
• Additional questions may be unlocked by watching rewarded video ads (1 ad per day = +5 questions)

6.2 Premium Subscription (Coming Soon)

• Premium subscribers receive 15 questions per day and no banner ads
• Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple via the App Store
• All payments, billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple
• Refer to Apple's Terms of Service for subscription terms
• We have no control over Apple's subscription system

6.3 Advertisements

• The App displays banner and rewarded video ads via Google AdMob
• We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements

7. Data Collection and Privacy

By using the App, you consent to data collection as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with:

• Firebase (Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics)
• Supabase (Database hosting)
• Google AdMob (Advertising)
• Sign in with Apple (Authentication)
• Apple App Store (Subscriptions)

You use these services at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party service failures, data breaches, or policy changes.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Entertainment Purpose

• The App is for entertainment and educational purposes only
• Questions and explanations may not be 100% accurate or up-to-date
• We make no guarantees about accuracy or content quality
• Do not rely on the App for professional, medical, legal, or financial advice

9.2 No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES:

• We make no warranties about functionality, availability, or accuracy
• We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or always available
• We do not guarantee data will not be lost
• You use the App entirely at your own risk

10. Complete Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE HAVE ZERO LIABILITY:

• We are not liable for any damages of any kind, including but not limited to:
• Loss of data, progress, or statistics
• Loss of time or device issues
• Incorrect information in questions
• Any issues caused by third-party services (Firebase, AdMob, Apple, etc.)
• Any bugs, errors, or service interruptions

• Apple handles all subscription billing and payments
• All payment disputes, refunds, and billing issues are between you and Apple
• We have no liability for subscription-related issues
• Contact Apple Support for subscription problems

• Our liability is $0 (zero) for any claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow complete exclusion of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the absolute minimum permitted by law.

11. Your Responsibility

By using the App, you agree:

• You use the App at your own risk
• You are responsible for any consequences of using the App
• You will not hold us liable for any issues, damages, or losses

12. Termination

12.1 We May:

• Suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason
• Discontinue the App at any time without notice
• Modify or remove features without notice

12.2 You May:

• Stop using the App at any time by deleting it
• Delete your account via Settings → Delete My Account

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.

Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.

16. Age Requirement

17. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
